In response to The Daily Post’s weekly photo challenge: “Muse.” If I have to figure out what I keep going back to I have 4 main things. My feline boys (Chewie, Snoopy and Skittles), Birds – anywhere and anytime, but mostly my backyard, flowers – especially with water drops!. But hands down I go back to lake Acworth. I could take a picture in the same spot and it would look different each time. But I do move about a bit 🙂

In response to The Daily Post’s weekly photo challenge: “ROY G. BIV.” So you will see more than 7 pictures here – because I found it very challenging to find – agreed upon – definitions of indigo verus blue versus violet. The only thing I was sure of is that violet has some purple in it :-). And a second red snuck in. All in all it was rather difficult to find any true green flowers – leaves yes – pre-flowers yes, so I settled on buds 😦
I grew up in NJ where regular snowfalls are a matter of course. Here in Georgia, those snowfalls – seem to cause much more havoc. Although this storm came down heavy for a while, it was mostly gone the next day. But as I looked out my window I kept seeing how my normal backyard visitors had to deal with the cold, wet, white stuff. The mourning dove, in particular, seems pretty miserable

I do love to get out early in the morning. My favorite place is Lake Acworth and this one just has such good reflection in the lake that it is one of my favs.
