My last blog was about new beginnings on January 3rd. Then I told folks I was trying to declutter. Well I have decluttered in a Major Way! I went from a 2600 house to about a 1200 square foot apartment. I decided to do so to simplify. I want to retire some day and got tired of my money going to feed my house instead of my soul. I have some wonderful (I won’t say last because I can always go back) photos to post of my old lake, but – no matter where I move I always try to move somewhere that can be close to nature.
My new place is actually on the Chattahoochee River. Chewie, Snoopy and I (Skittles passed at thanksgiving time) are adjusting. Me better than the boys, but that is for another post.
This is just a quick jump back into the blog world, I decided to look at apartments on January 23rd and by March 9th, had sold the house, found the apartment and moved in. Still setting, but here are some scenes from my new place …. I love the goose – this is one of those images that just happens. You can’t plan for it, you can’t script it. I was using a bit of a long exposure and he had to have had his head down out of view for a good portion of it resulting in him looking like a ghost with a see through neck.
