I do like unexpected surprises. In both pictures the little insect was a bonus and something I did not even know was there until I looked at the pictures after I got home.
In response to The Daily Post’s weekly photo challenge: “Muse.” If I have to figure out what I keep going back to I have 4 main things. My feline boys (Chewie, Snoopy and Skittles), Birds – anywhere and anytime, but mostly my backyard, flowers – especially with water drops!. But hands down I go back to lake Acworth. I could take a picture in the same spot and it would look different each time. But I do move about a bit 🙂

In response to The Daily Post’s weekly photo challenge: “ROY G. BIV.” So you will see more than 7 pictures here – because I found it very challenging to find – agreed upon – definitions of indigo verus blue versus violet. The only thing I was sure of is that violet has some purple in it :-). And a second red snuck in. All in all it was rather difficult to find any true green flowers – leaves yes – pre-flowers yes, so I settled on buds 😦
I was out and had the luck of having dragon flies sticking around a body of water. They hung out for quite a bit. I’m showing 2 here – one where I’ve pinked up the tail a bit (his own coloring was pretty enough – but I had a purple challenge). and one where it puts him in the background. Not quite sure why I like the blurry one – but looks interesting to me.
