still playing with HDR – this may be too much enhancing, but I’m pretty OK with the finished product. Either way was happy for it to be a sunny day that let me go outside and get back to snapping!

Not so warm Georgia
Well it is much better than my old home New Jersey. As of yet (fingers crossed) no snow or ice, but you can find some icy spots if you look. And one of the things that makes photography interesting is how you can make something look like a scene that is a bit different than what it really is. This picture is of a small man-made waterfall outside of a restaurant, but looks like the banks of an icy stream.
HDR, not so good with moving subjects
I knew it wouldn’t go well, because on my camera the bracket exposer takes about one second. That does not seem long – but to a cat and a wood pecker, staying still that long will simply not happen. Luckily my software has a ghost removal feature, but it does come at a loss of quality. So here are 2 shots, kitty and wood pecker. I added a paint quality to Chewie because of the blurriness of the photo – hoping for a soft quality.
