So I don’t really consider this another bird picture. What I really like about this one is that, except for the protruding branch, the tree itself looks flat rather than a round trunk. The knot whole adds to the interest (I think)

Dandelion Fluff
I’d never really looked at a dandelion before. I plucked this one out of the garden (mainly because I’ve not been on top of it and didn’t want to propagate more dandelions). At first it started out the fluffy white but then the seed pods just all started coming out, this first pic has just one seed pod getting ready to fly away.

better bird in tree
So yes another bird (and I need to look this one up to 🙂 However I was really happy with this one. I have been having a hard time getting photos of birds in trees because when I try to focus through branches or leaves – I have ended up getting the foliage in focus and the bird blurry. I’ve switched up how I do this and got a better result – what I’ve been doing is trying to focus on a bigger part of the bird, like the chest – and that has seemed to work well

Moon in Pine
I like this picture, but I’m not sure if there would have been a way to get both the pine and moon in focus. I believe not – but I like it anyhow, I always like it when the moon is up in the day.

This guy has just started coming to my yard in the past couple of days. I believe him to be a hermit thrush – but still looking it up

Slipping in another Cardinal
I’m not sure if the camera or my eyes are going, but I appear to be getting blurrier pictures 😦 so I did modify the diopter and seem to see an improvement (so I’m guessing the eyes are the issue not the camera!) -but I got a pretty sharp cardinal and just had to post another!
